ADEPT
The Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport (ADEPT) is the voice of place directors who are responsible for providing day to day services including local highways, recycling, waste and planning. ADEPT members are at the very heart of delivering clean sustainable growth, tackling climate change at a local level. They manage the projects that are fundamental to creating more resilient, inclusive and safe communities, economies and infrastructure.
Bristol Airport
Bristol is the ninth largest airport in the UK and England’s third largest regional airport. With over 120 direct routes, Bristol Airport acts as an inbound gateway to the South West. The airport’s Sustainability Strategy brings together existing and new targets on cutting emissions from its operations, details how the airport is working with partners to accelerate the development of zero emissions flight, outlines enhancements to the local environment, and explains how the airport supports the region’s economy.
Bristol Port Company
As one of the UK’s major ports, Bristol provides the full range of port, warehousing, logistics and distribution services. Bristol Port is the UK’s only deep water port to have direct motorway and rail connections to all points of the compass. Able to handle vessels up to 130,000dwt its extensive craneage, warehousing and storage facilities and location close to the heart of the UK make it a highly capable distribution location.

Environment Agency
The Environment Agency is the biggest and most wide-ranging environmental regulator in Europe. It works with businesses and communities to protect and improve the environment, for people and wildlife. And the need for its work is becoming ever more important. Established in 1996, the Environment Agency has around 10,600 employees and its head office is in Bristol.
Exeter Airport
Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) South West
The ICE is a professional membership body that government and industry listen to while providing unrivalled support to 98,000 members. ICE South West supports these members at a regional level and shares knowledge, influences public infrastructure policy, and encourages innovation and excellence in the civil engineering profession. ICE South West founded SWIP in 2017 and continues to support SWIP by providing secretariat services, marketing and advice.
