Infrastructure is the foundation upon which economic prosperity is built, creating the conditions for businesses, communities and people to thrive. In the South West, strong transport and digital communication links, reliable energy networks, sufficient housing and access to employment opportunities are all interconnected and essential to unlocking sustainable growth.To achieve efficiencies during infrastructure delivery and respond to changing and evolving challenges associated with delivering that infrastructure, we need to develop a strong collaborative ecosystem amongst infrastructure providers, operators, consultants, contractors and the wider supply chain. This aligns with SWIP’s focus on how infrastructure investment can unlock sustainable growth and support thriving communities across the region.
